Never

Never should I have to close your door,
Never should I have to put flowers on your bed.
Never should I have to throw dirt on you.
Never should I have to speak for you,
Never should I have to visit you everyday,
And speak to you through prayer.
I should NEVER have to do these things.
Nor should any other mother have to bury her child.
